What types of franchises are available?

WTF STORES - Vape and Smoke Shop offers individual franchise opportunities as well as area development agreements. These options enable franchisees to operate one or multiple retail locations within a designated, protected territory.

What is the investment cost?

The initial investment required for a WTF STORES - Vape and Smoke Shop franchise ranges from $90,100 to $167,100, which includes a franchise fee of $21,900. The specific numbers may differ based on your location and region. This fee encompasses training, opening assistance, an operations manual, and ongoing support and development services.

Are there ongoing royalties or fees?

Yes, franchisees are required to pay a royalty fee equal to 5% of monthly gross revenues. This fee provides continued usage of our name and trademarks, along with access to comprehensive franchisee support including initial and ongoing training, a proven operating system, marketing assistance, group purchasing benefits, and other resources.

Local rents range from approximately $16 to $35 per square foot. Michigan’s population stands at 10,127,884 with a median market income of $42,946. Reported earnings reflect EBITA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, and Amortization). Prospective franchisees are advised to consult their own accounting, business, and legal advisers.

How is advertising handled?

Brand recognition is paramount for franchisee success. A pooled advertising budget facilitates wide-reaching media campaigns to benefit all participants. The possibility exists for the introduction of a national marketing fund, which may require contributions of up to 2% of monthly gross sales in the future. Franchisees must currently allocate at least 2% of their monthly gross sales to local advertising efforts.

What training is included?

The training program consists of 20 hours of classroom instruction, 20 hours of on-the-job training, two days of onsite opening support, and periodic refresher courses throughout the year. Franchisees and up to three additional team members are eligible to attend training sessions.

What ongoing support is provided?

Franchisees receive consistent support from a dedicated franchise representative who provides guidance on customer service, operations, accounting, marketing, and related inquiries.

Will an exclusive territory be part of the agreement?

Yes, each franchisee is granted a designated zone in which no other WTF STORES - Vape and Smoke Shop can operate. This territory is defined as either a five-mile radius around the store location or a population density of 50,000 people, whichever is smaller.

How long is the franchise agreement?

The standard term of the franchise agreement is ten years, with options for two renewal periods of five years each. Each renewal requires payment of a fee equal to 25% of the prevailing franchise fee.
